FISH PROGRAM (ages 5-10)
10 WEEK SESSION
Practice Commitment: 1 day per week

This program teaches artistic swimming skills in a non-competitive environment. Athletes will learn basic artistic swimming skills, receive an introduction to flexibility training, and enjoy new ways to move in the water with friends. Both beginners and individuals with some artistic swimming class experience will enjoy this program. This class runs in the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.

Artistic swimming is the perfect combination of dance, gymnastics, music, and water! If your child enjoys any of those activities, they will love artistic swimming. This session will introduce your child to the sport while enhancing their flexibility, endurance, and overall comfort in the water. Basic artistic swimming skills are taught along with a fun routine choreographed to music that is heard both underwater and above.

INTERMEDIATE TEAM
Practice Commitment: 2-3 days per week (6-9 hours/week) and mandatory attendance 2 weeks in advance of each meet.
Prerequisites: For strong swimmers. Coach evaluation required.
The intermediate team is the perfect introduction to competitive artistic swimming. The girls spend the fall learning basic skills and the winter combining those skills into two routines. Typically, in the spring they attend three competitions. Increasing confidence and teamwork and having fun are the primary goals of this program.

* Please note that your child's age group is determined by FINA Rules and is the age she will be on December 31, 2025. This is because we are preparing for the 2025 competitive season. Thus, it is possible that a girl who is 9 at registration time in August 2024 will sign up for the 11/12 intermediate team if she has a late birthday (September-December).
